Why I Do This

I do this because I once had a fitness goal I'd always wanted to achieve.  I wanted to do a bodybuilding competition, just to see if I could get my body to look like that. But, it just wasn’t happening. I always thought, Wouldn’t it be niceif… I'd start working towards my goals — then, stop. 

My follow-through game was terrible. 

New Year’s Eve 2014, it finally sunk in, that what I want matters. I made a New Year’s resolution to DO and FOLLOW THROUGH. I knew I couldn’t do it on my own, so I hired a coach, and finally made the commitment. Little by little… I made progress, until I finally reached my goal. (And won a couple medals, to boot!) Through that experience I learned that having a coach to hold me accountable, encourage me, and point out my little victories, was invaluable. And that consistency really was key to reaching my goal!

No matter what your goal is, I want to be that person for you. This is the only life we get. The only body we get – it’s use it or lose it! So, let's do this!

"I met Michele after gaining a lot of weight from having an induced hypothyroid from IVF hormone treatments. I went from 145-168 pounds in two weeks! After gaining that weight, I stopped working out all together and started eating everything in sight. I finally had enough of feeling insecure about myself (and my weight) when I got to 174 pounds. "Training with Michele has been one of the best experiences of my life. With previous trainers, I always wanted to skip the not-so-enjoyable parts — and I warned her about this.  But, I took a leap of faith, and did one introductory session with Michele — and that was it!  She not only provided amazing training (coaching on proper form, pushing me to progress everyday), she also listened to my personal fitness goals, and encouraged me the entire way.  When I first told her my goal of climbing Mt. Baldy, it seemed like a pipe dream — to me.  Not to Michele. Seven months later, we summited the peak together (!), and it was one of most meaningful achievements of my life.
